Summary

Summary
(Human AU.)
Welcome to Eastgate Museum and Institution.
Anthony Crowley knows what wanting looks like. He’s spent years finding it in art of the Baroque and Renaissiance: parted lips, outstretched hands carrying bowed heads and knees pressed into the ground.
Then museum director Dr. Aziraphale Fell comes across Crowley’s work and invites him to lecture at Eastgate. Wanting becomes surrender, surrender becomes trust, and Crowley discovers there is a difference between studying desire and having someone study him with the same attention.
“Aziraphale leaned back slightly and studied the man across from him. He had spent hours with Crowley’s words, following them through paintings and bodies caught forever in the act of reaching.
“When did you first see it?”
Crowley frowned. “See what?”
“The pleasure.”

Bookmarker's Notes

Summary
The trouble with being an 'us' is that it takes up a lot of time that Aziraphale used to spend reading.
If only there could be two of him.
And if only he could stay on task.

Bookmarker's Notes

Summary
Morning dawns. Aziraphale is snoring like the central heating kicking in after a chilly night, Bentley is dreaming of bone-shaped risk assessments, and Crowley—well, he’s wide awake, holding onto the fragile miracle of being here at all.
From a rooftop accident that left him blind as a kid, through to honeymooning with a husband that his guide dog believes should come with a warning label, Crowley reflects on the voices that shaped his path—and how one chaotic meeting on a train platform changed everything.
It’s exactly the sort of sentimental nonsense he’d mock—if it hadn’t happened to be his life.

Bookmarker's Notes

Summary
Aziraphale’s lips parted, and the look of blatant shock on his angel’s face— visible for only the barest of moments before he steeled himself back to stony anger— made Crowley’s heart twist miserably. Never again, he vowed. Never again would Aziraphale go on thinking he ought to apologize for every fight they ever had, whereas Crowley’s temper was excused without exception. Aziraphale’s forgiveness would never be taken advantage of again. He’d sleep naked on consecrated grounds before he did it again.
OR
Crowley reflects on his relationship with Aziraphale, their last conversation, and how to make things right. He finds Aziraphale, ready to take accountability, and the two finally communicate as they take the next step how they always wanted to: Together.

Bookmarker's Notes
