Summary
Izuku Midoriya has a Quirk. It's powerful, albeit kind of a pain in the ass. But he's still going to attend UA High alongside his best friend Katsuki Bakugo, in hopes of becoming a great hero despite his Quirk's drawbacks. Nothing is going to stop him, not villains, disasters or even his own Quirk.
Or, Midoriya has a Quirk that is equal parts Domino's luck ability from Marvel Comics and the effects of the Infinite Improbability Generator from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, with a little toon force for good measure. Inspired by the sadly discontinued fic "Murphy's Law" by Plantsandpaints.

At the age of four, Izuku Midoriya lost his dream. At the age of seven, he lost his legs and gained a new friend. At the age of ten, he learned to walk again. And at the age of fourteen, he traded his right arm to get his dream back.
Or, that story in which Midoriya becomes a cyborg hero with the help of the other crazy geniuses in his life. Featuring Yaoyorozu loving things that go "BOOM", Hatsume being Hatsume, Bakugo being incredibly confused, and Aizawa needing more coffee to deal with these problem children. Significant elements from One-Punch Man and Marvel; minor references to a few other series.

With their relationship fractured beyond repair and Rudy struggling with the darker aspects of his intellect, he must grapple with the idea of becoming a better person, one worthy of the responsibilities of a true hero. However, between the support of his teammates and an unexpected mess of romantic entanglements, Rudy may come to realize that the journey to becoming better isn't one that has to be traveled alone.
(Or: A hybrid show/comics AU in which Rudy and Amanda arrive back in 70 years rather than 700 with a broken relationship and a Rudy realizing that his idea of a peaceful Earth might not be worth sacrificing the family he's made in the process)
