But Glimmer has bigger beef with Catra then just the music causing a newly rekindled war between the two. However Catra and Adora have a different kind of burning passion between the two, one that doesn’t involve screaming, and one that the two don’t know how to express in words…for now. Summary
Adora feels a slow burn in her gut—it's been there all day, really all week building up to this, but now there's no ignoring it. This scene is something she's wanted for ages now—something she wished for silently for a long time, and then, when she found the courage, asked for it openly.
Catra was hesitant for a long time. Even now, when Catra came to tie her up, Adora half expects Catra to back out. Instead, Catra barely looks at her as she carefully ties Adora's arms, asking about her comfort before throwing her teasing smirk and promising to be back. She's not sure if Catra is actually doing something else right now or just toying with Adora, letting her take in the scene.
Her shoulders are stretched, not enough to hurt but she can't move her arms from behind her back. She's tied to a column and all she can do is lean forward, but only if she spreads her knees more.
It’s the exact position she found herself in years ago, when Catra captured her in the Crimson Waste.

Catra looks at Adora rolling her eyes at the stupid frat boys. Adora's eyes are a deep blue, a smirk on her lips that pulls at Catra's gut in a way that she doesn't expect.
Adora leans in gently. "Want to give them a show?" She whispers in her ear, her breath hot on Catra's neck.
She furrows her brow, even though the idea is more exciting than it should be. "I'm not gay," Catra replies.
Adora shrugs. "So? I'm not either. It's just a kiss." She gives Catra a small smile. "We can go dance instead."
Catra can see the easy out a mile away. But the liquor makes her warm—Adora's eyes make her warm—and she's right. It's just a kiss. She's feeling adventurous when she leans forward, pressing her lips to Adora.

“Hey! Hey.” Bow lowered his voice. “We know that’s not what you meant. Adora, it’s perfectly okay to want a hug from your girlfriend.”
