“Huh?” Adora felt her cheeks flushing red as she tore her gaze away from the girl and turned to whoever had spoken. “Sorry, were you talking to me?”
The gorgeous girl strutted past them without a single glance, like she was totally oblivious to how much the world seemed to want her. The girl who had spoken to her followed the other girls down the hallway with her gaze. An intense wave of dislike seemed to emanate from her.
“Satan,” the girl repeated, nodding down the hallway once the other girls turned the corner, “Catrina Driluth, but everyone just calls her Catra. Head cheerleader. All the girls want to be her, all the guys want to fuck her, and she’s completely fucking evil from head to toe.”'

"No, rewind a bit.” The words came out harder than she intended. "I thought…" Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. "I thought it was because Adora was studying abroad in Salineas. Not because…" She opened her eyes. Swallowed. "Is she still in Salineas?"
Concern settled across Scorpia's face. "I mean… yeah, she was, but she came back already." And then, slowly, carefully, "But that doesn't change what I said."
Catra felt herself sitting up.
"She and Huntara broke up before she left."
For a full second, the world went very quiet.
Then Catra was off the couch before anyone could react. The door swung open and banged against the wall. She was already through it.
Her shoes hit the pavement and she broke into a sprint, blowing past the bus stop on the corner because stopping, waiting, or standing still were not options her body was willing to do right now. She cut a hard left that ran straight to the campus center building she hadn't stepped foot in for over a year. She wasn't thinking about how she hadn't done real cardio in forever or the stitch already forming under her ribs.
The only thought she could even remotely sustain was…
Adora Grayskull was single.

Maybe it's parental hormones causing delusions or the fact that Catra never speaks more than two full sentences to her subjects, but people don't seem to realize that every kid looks the same. Seriously, every single one. The moment you crop out their outfit and slap them against the same soft gradient background, they all lose their spark of individuality, dulled to a simmering, unoffensive caricature of youth. It's kind of horrifying.

Now, she wasn’t oblivious. She had seen Ryujin a few times before, walking around campus, occupying empty corners—presumably skipping classes, even smoking behind the gym. She could imagine the kind of crowd she ran with, if she ran with one at all, now that she thinks about it she’s never seen her with much company.
But that didn’t matter, she’d be damned if she let some delinquent girl take this away from her. Tutoring was going to look excellent on her college apps, and she also had never been one to half ass anything.
So yeah, she’d be damned.

Ryujin blinked. Shit. She'd forgotten about other people being a thing. She'd been holed up in her shitty fucking apartment with a shitty fucking demon for far too long. Three weeks too long. She knew better than to ask if the poor guy at the counter could see Sayeon. "Yep," she said, nudging the chalk forwards slightly. "Doing great. You?"
The cashier smiled with a somewhat forced affect. "I'm okay. Uh… any special occasion?"
Ryujin raised an eyebrow. Looked down at her meagre selections. Chalk and candles. "Sure. Exorcism."
The cashier perked up, eyes brightening. "Ooh. Are you a professional?"
Ryujin eyed her blackboard chalk and off-brand candles. She spared Sayeon a brief glance. She was looking at her with clear bemusement. "Sure am."

Summary
Impatient and hitting a plateau, Sayeon concludes she needs to pass as a sociable and impressionable young woman to the Naj recruiters– someone who would politely hear out their shady sales pitch; a true heaven-sent angel. Somehow, this leads to fake-dating Ryujin, especially since it would allow Sayeon to pry into her.
It turns out that the girl in question, who had lacked her usual retorts at the proposition, is enticed by using the pretense to mess with Sayeon.
Sayeon instead ends up masquerading the simple joys of a normal teenaged girl, what with Ryujin's indulgence, and is reminded of the stark difference with her own reality and identity.
And unbeknownst to Ryujin, Sayeon ends up weaponizing the premise as well. The former finds herself fed up with her cell leader's act, both inside and outside of missions.

Relationships don't exist in a vacuum, a fact that makes Illari and Kiriko's weird 'friendship-not-friendship' thing subject to lots of outside opinions. Trying to decipher the truth is a pointless endeavor, the true nature of their feelings fractured and distorted by many a falsified perception. In the end, no-one can truly say what's what, no matter how well they think they understand.

The Omnic Crisis had officially ended and the Agents of Overwatch were finally able to bring an end to Null Sector, Talon and their war crimes. Casualties were inevitable, but the team was able to save the world one last time.
The last thing Hana could remember was joining South Korea's MEKA program; she could remember her team, she could remember Dae Hyun, and she could remember how many Gwishin she'd taken down alongside them to protect her nation.
Many things were hazy, but one thing was certain: she definitely couldn't recall who the auburn-haired beauty sitting in her hospital room was, let alone why she was there in the first place.
