As Orpheus stepped outside into the courtyard, he saw a young woman training, she looked about his age.
Sun-kissed skin slick with sweat, beading at her forehead, arms dotted with freckles. Short, black hair, looked like she cut it herself, but it didn’t look bad at all. She was clad in her armor. Silky grey metal covered almost her whole body, except for her head. She held a sword, warm from the sun. Her eyes glimmered in the light. She was gorgeous. He hoped she didn’t see him almost trip over his own feet.
She huffed, trying to regain her breath after the strenuous work. “Ah, hello my prince.” She smiled.☆ ~ ☆ ~ ☆

But all of that changes when one day he discovers that he has been given a gift by the Great Kings of the Past, a gift that had once been lost and forgotten due to bad memories over the years. With his friends by his side, Kion embarks on a journey to find out what he is truly capable of as the fiercest of the Pride Lands, even as the protective grip his father has over him demands him to stay put.
A rewrite of the show in honor of the 10th anniversary of The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar. It is a weekly thing for me to remember and sigh at the thought that this show probably would've been better if it wasn't a Disney Jr. show aimed at a younger audience.
