Summary
At 14, Chihiro's pretty sure he's got a solid understanding of how things work. He and his dad spend all day in the forge, Shiba-san and his dad aren't as subtle as they think they are, and both of them still speak in whispers about certain things he's not supposed to know about yet.
One night, however, he notices his dad having a nightmare he can't be woken from. Unable to get answers from the adults in his life, he takes it on himself to find the cause- and hopefully a solution.

“Did you know that the anesthesia spell has no one specific target?” Giyuu said. He used his foot to roll Shiba’s body over in order to lock eyes with the boy. “Instead, the water it consecrates may be used on anyone in the time that the sorcery remains active.”
Shiba’s eyes, previously dull, flickered with something like realization. Something like fear. “You wouldn’t,” he hissed.
“I would,” Giyuu replied coolly. “That is, unless you’d like to prove your obedience another way.”
Giyuu sets out to tame Hiroto's favorite pet.

“It’s been a week,” Chihiro said quietly. “Since it was meant to happen.”
Shiba looked up from his book. His expression was a slow bloom of emotions— confusion, realization, a dread so vivid it made Chihiro’s stomach drop just to look at it.
Chihiro hadn’t wanted Shiba to feel dread. But when he looked inside himself, he didn’t know what reaction he did want Shiba to have. His whole body felt cold, empty where his heart should be, suspended by nothing but inertia in the moment before its own collapse.
Chihiro gets pregnant. He obviously can't keep it.
So why, then, does he feel this way?

The blood didn’t stop.
Panic licked at the edges of his consciousness. How many minutes had it been? How deep had he cut? For an instant he thought about calling for help, then shook his head to clear the thought. There was a first-aid kit under the sink. He could fix this.
Despite Chihiro's best efforts, Shiba finds out that he's relapsed.

The TV keeps playing, and Chihiro can see the fluttering birds out of the corner of his eye and hear the soft singing, lyrics he knows by heart:
Whatever you wish for, you keep.
His dad’s hand slides a little further down past the waistband of his shorts.
Chihiro and his dad have a movie night.

Summary
It’s high summer sun and Suguru wears his hair up in a tight ponytail, purposefully swishing it around as he trains. He’s much better than any of the other students, years of Aikido working in his favor, and even the older students often ask to spar with him. Suguru accepts, taking his popularity gracefully, but what he’s truly after is something else -
“My my, Suguru. Look at you. Beating all your senpais up just to show off. Good job.”
Gojo Satoru pulls at his swishing ponytail to congratulate him. Suguru flushes whenever he feels it, the tug at his scalp, the goosebumps afterwards.
Suguru straightens up his back and pushes out his chest - hands behind his back, chin up, smiling, perfectly poised. Gojo praises him freely, and Suguru preens under it.
“Thank you, Gojo-sensei,” he says, looking up at the older man. Batting eyelashes. Tip of his tongue wetting his lower lip. “Do I get a prize for that?”

Summary
The idea has been rounding Shiba's mind for a while now, but it only comes out one day late at night, while in bed with Azami.
"Hey, if we ever had a threesome, who would you like it to be with?"
Azami takes a second. He closes his eyes and breathes in, slowly, for a few seconds. Then, he pushes away from Shiba to be able to look at him with a frown and glare.
"What the fuck, Shiba." He says. "I turn down sex for one night and you pull this bullshit? Are you seriously so horny?"
"What!" Half offended by Azami's accusation, Shiba frowns too. "I was just- It was just a question! A hypothetical!"
The two of them think about it for a few moments, in silence... Then, at the exact same time, they both look at each other with a pointing finger, Azami sitting up and Shiba snapping his fingers.
"Uruha!"
"Natsuki!"

Summary
“Hey,” Shiba said, deceptively casual, glancing at Chihiro from the corner of his eye as he drove. “There’s no shame in saying you want to back out. We’ll find a different way.”
He pulled a face. “I’m not a little kid anymore, Mr. Shiba.”
“I’m being serious. Think about it. Are you sure you’re ready?”
Chihiro already knew his answer… but he did as he was asked and gave it serious consideration. This wasn’t a game, least of all to him. He might have to fight. Maybe even kill. But he’d already killed before, and was starting to get used to the feeling of someone else’s blood on his skin.
“I can do it, Mr. Shiba,” he said.
“…Alright,” he said softly, almost resignedly. “Alright.”
Or; Chihiro is assaulted by three men in a bar, and he attempts to hide it from Shiba with unintended consequences.
