So Shouta wasn’t captured for ransom and wasn’t about to be tortured for information, it just seemed like it was good old fashioned payback. Where his drawn out pain was the end game. Perhaps even his death if rescue didn’t happen. Not how he imagined spending his time.

Summary
Shouta didn’t have some grand speech figured out, didn’t plan any fancy dinner or elaborate scheme. Hadn’t even planned on doing this tonight. None of the supposed traditional ways sat right with him, especially not with the secrecy of their jobs to take in consideration. They didn’t need some unnecessary audience for this. Not when he was about to give physical proof that Toshinori held his heart and that he wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Shouta never thought he’d be doing this, that he’d have this kind of love for someone, yet here he was, because it was Toshinori.
It would always be Toshinori for him.
Perhaps there was something magical about Christmas after all.

Summary
This is my first long fic series for an EraserMight alternate universe called Cat’s Cradle! After a few years in the works and over a year finally writing a good chunk of it out, I finally felt like I can finally start sharing it. Silver Linings is the main story and there will be prequel following, along with several installments after.
Silver Linings and multiple parts of the Cat’s Cradle series have been written and are currently backlogged and needing edited, so I hope to keep a consistent posting schedule.
Please be mindful of all the tags for the series, as there are some darker themes that show up in a few of the parts.

Summary
“Ride or Die”: Someone you would do anything for.
This mini-series is meant to showcase Shouta’s platonic/familial bond and friendship with Hizashi and Nemuri and vice versa. These take place pre-canon, when they are still in their early twenties, around 22 to 25 years of age. Before they start teaching at UA or canon events occur.
The first, "Steady Breath", focuses on Nemuri.
The second, "Smoke and Ash", focuses on Hizashi.
The third, "A Electrifying Reckoning", focuses on Shouta.
Each can be read as a stand alone.They are all written from Shouta’s third person perspective.
Mind the tags for all three, as they feature near-death, injuries, and torture themes.
