What’s up?
Dean’s holding his guts in with a hoodie. He’s in a ditch on the side of the road, amidst miles and miles of farmland on the side of a highway Dean’s forgotten the number of. A werewolf had done it, so at least Dean gets to look up at a full moon as he dies. After Dad hadn’t picked up, Dean knew there was only one person he wanted to hear from. Only one person who mattered.
“Nothing much,” Dean says, a little strained as a throb of agony rolls up his body. “Thinking about hitting up a bar in a few and thought I’d check in.”

Gojo keeps going. He keeps going, even as his body begins to give up on him, and his reverse cursed technique patches him up just enough to let him take another step. Another breath. His vision begins to flicker, the world spinning under his feet. Another step, another breath. Megumi. He needs to find Megumi.
Where is he?
Despite it all, despite the odds stacked against him, Gojo keeps going. Even if it hurts, he keeps going. He needs to. Megumi needs him.
And he promised – to Tsumiki, to himself, to Megumi – that he’ll do it. Whatever it takes, whatever it does to his mind and body, it doesn’t matter.
He’ll bring Megumi home.

or: Megumi goes missing, and Gojo just wants to bring him back home, but he's tired. So, so tired. Tiredness leads to words that shouldn't be said, and words that shouldn't be said lead to fights, and when Megumi and Gojo have their biggest fight yet, Gojo struggles to cope.

That’s exactly how Satoru finds her when he bursts through the door. It swings hard enough to smack against the wall. Shoko jolts, rising half out of her chair before she realizes who it is.
“What the fuck, Satoru?!”
“I’m pregnant," he says, placing a hand over his stomach. Shoko stares at him. Then laughs. Hard enough to bend at the waist, a hand coming up to wipe her hair out of her face.
“Shoko.” Satoru’s voice breaks, crumbling on the last letter of her name. It shuts her up, makes the laughter die as she looks at him.
“You aren’t kidding?”
Satoru shakes his head, clutching at the fabric of his loose sleep shirt. Shoko approaches him slowly, eyes trained on his hand like she’s trying to see the proof.
“How do you know?”
Breath stuttering, Satoru smiles, “I saw it.”
Or, Satoru Gojo is pregnant, and he's about to make it everyone's problem.

Truth be told, he doesn’t remember much of it.
It’s all a little blurry, fuzzy around the edges and dulled under sharp, inarticulate pain. A familiar palm gripped tight under his chin, a smooth voice murmuring, “isn’t it marvelous, Satoru?” The weight of his head, like lead sinking below the waves of the ocean.
A flash of orange is what ends it all.
‘Megumi’s been quiet,’ he thinks, refusing to open his eyes, not entirely surprised that he has been when he only got back two days ago. It must be a shock, Satoru’s mused more than once in the hours since, to return to the wreck he is. He can’t blame him for it.
