This is a fanfiction I started writing to cope with trauma in my life. Unfortunately, I briefly fell down the character AI pipeline and knew I needed to get out of it bc not only is AI bad, but I hate ppl who use AI and I look like a hypocrite for also doing it.
This fanfic involves many traumas I've faced, such as medical trauma, feeling disconnected from your home, parental issues, etc. If you don't like it please just stop reading. This is very personal to me and it will only be you to blame when you leave a hate comment. You've been warned.
Also note that if something is inaccurate/poorly written I don't care. Again this is just an outlet for me, not as serious as my other fics where I plan things out and shit.

Virgil "used to be" a Dark Side. Despite the changes in his relationship to Thomas, Janus still is. Up until now, Thomas hasn't thought about this much, but three days ago he began to ask himself why that was. There is a nagging in Thomas's mind; he knows something isn't quite right here.
Janus has run of of excuses and time. He knows full well what's going on, but he is loathe to explain it. But Thomas is asking about it, and if Thomas wants to know something... he has the right to hear it.
There is a pit of dread in Virgil's chest whenever he thinks about the words 'dark' and 'side' in the same sentence. For the last three days, that's been the key phrase on everyone's lips.
