Summary
In Proud Immortal Demon Way, Luo Zhenghe was a kind immortal who dedicated himself to his position as Peak Lord. He is betrayed though by his ambitious student Shen Jiu, eventually Shen Qingqiu, who always hated and resented his Master and was obsessed with his martial aunt the Sect Leader. The student dragged the others of his generation into the plot, innocent deceived bystanders, thus assuring the destruction of the Sect by the Saintly Ruler, Luo Binghe, who cast off his Sect Name and went back to his birth one. He has a harem in the hundreds, starting with the Flowers of the Peak aka his fellow Peak Lords, and exacted bloody revenge on his once trusted student and those who defended him.
Shen Yuan would very much like not to be the traitorous jealous student who turned on his Shizun, revealing his secret and having the whole cultivation world drag him down and who got the brightest students of his generation killed. He wants to cling wholeheartedly to his Master's golden thigh and hopefully keep his collection of acquaintances alive.

The one where Jiang Cheng is as riveting as she is unpredictable, Lan Wangji is both a disaster bi and a disastrous drunk, and Wei Ying is horrible at being a ghost and worse at being alive.
