Summary
Scott's chest felt tight - too tight - and before he lost consciousness, he wondered if this is what a heart attack feels like. Either way, he didn't care; maybe he was being selfish, but he didn't want to live in a world without his pack and now also without his brother in it.
Or: a tale about friendship, second chances, and what it means to be a pack.

Summary
“What’s going on?”
Scott made a strange, whiny noise at the back of his throat that made him sound a little like a kicked puppy. “Your scent.” He pulled on Stiles’s hoodie until their noses were practically touching.
“Scott, buddy, you’re going to have to be more specific.” Stiles rubbed a circle on the back of Scott’s hand with his thumb. “You know I don’t have werewolf senses.”
“You smell like… like…” Scott fumbled for words, his brow furrowed deeply. His eyes started to look a little wet, and that was something Stiles could not deal with.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’m okay. Just tell me what’s wrong and we’ll fix it. I’ll—I dunno—shower really good, I promise.”
“You smell like something claimed you,” Scott finally said in a horrified whisper.

Summary
Stiles groaned and slowly got up. Isaac had fallen asleep somewhere between Peter’s rant about trolls' healing properties and Derek's hypothesis of witches, which — for the first time— well, not first, but Stiles wanted to exaggerate — Stiles thought the same.
“Look, I'm running on just, like, three full hours of sleep. I haven't had a single drop of caffeine in my system, and my waffles are getting cold,” he said, heading to reheat his coffee.
“You shouldn't drink caffeine, Stiles,” his dad said, concern and disapproval firmly set on his features.
“And there shouldn’t be walking corpses out there, Dad, but hey—life’s unfair.”

Summary
As the mechanic leads him to another row, the glint of something shiny catches Eddie’s eye. A few of the more rundown-looking cars are all covered by tarps, but one is only half covered with its headlight sticking out; it looks like a Jeep, if Eddie’s memory serves him right.
The mechanic follows his gaze. “Oh, that one’s a beauty.”
“How long has it been here?” Eddie asks.
“Oh, about a year or so.”
Eddie runs his fingers down the hood, and over the silver logo on top of it. He doesn’t recognize it; maybe it was custom-made by the previous owner or something. It’s not bad. The Jeep itself is a deep navy blue, and the two sharp red lines spread across the sides are impossible not to notice, though all the dust and grime makes it look a bit dull.
“How much?”
"Ah, you don't want to see the others?"
"I'm sure," Eddie nods, patting the hood twice. "This is the one."
Or, the Buddie/Transformers au that nobody asked for where Evan Buckley is a robot from outer space, and Eddie Diaz is a very simple man who moves to L.A. and immediately has his work cut out for him.
Oh, and he might be gay for a robot.
