Summary
After a harrowing near-death experience and a romance that changed everything he knew about himself, Steve Harrington is doing just fine, thank you. But when a simple errand with Dustin Henderson turns into a trip through time to the days of Will's disappearance, he has to navigate through battles of the past, friends unaware monsters exist, and a Steve Harrington he can barely look in the eye.
A revisitation of Season One that grabs themes (and some characters) from later seasons, with lots of Dustin-Steve bonding, mistaken identity, DnD metaphors, El being El, Steve and Robin vibing early, and homeschool for the temporally displaced.

Summary
They escaped the lab. They fought monsters. They survived the Upside Down.
Humans were far harder to defeat.
Jim Hopper and Steve Harrington are trapped in a Russian prison, held in brutal conditions. A violent and sadistic Russian officer fixates on Steve, and Hopper is powerless to intervene as the kid he used to lecture about parties and beer becomes a target of relentless torment. When a chaotic rescue mission saves Hopper but forces him to leave Steve behind, he makes a plan to go back for him on his own.
The Party doesn't abandon its own, though, and Steve belongs to them. With the kids, some helpful adults, and the teens who are still unsure how they've gotten dragged into so many life-or-death situations, Hopper heads back into hell to save the kid he failed.
This time, he'll die before he leaves Steve behind.

Summary
Together, they turned to stare at Harrington, who had hunched further into himself now that Eddie was gone from the table.
“If he turns on us I’m blaming you.” Gareth grumbled finally, and tried not to let the smile that broke out on Eddie’s face effect him.
“Glad to hear you’re on board, Garebear.” Eddie said, patting his shoulder hard.
AKA the entirety of Hellfire, prompted by one Eddie, “herder of misfits, freaks and geeks” decide to expand their circle to adopt a jock instead.

Summary
Stephen Harrington was a quiet child. He never cried, calmly and easily carried any inconvenience and hardly bothered his mother. No one knew yet that the cause lay in his own body. Genetic disorder, mutation, malfunction in the body, error that cannot be cured or corrected.
Steve knew from childhood that he was a freak, in this world he had to live by the rules, play his role with skill of professional actor. It doesn’t mean that it’s easy for him. It also doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing.
