Summary
Back in 2021, George made the easy, stupid mistake of thinking one night of fun would stay exactly that.
Five years later, he gets a call from the mother of the resulting fun informing him that their son is throwing a tantrum and wants to go to Silverstone to watch Daddy and “Super Max.” Because apparently fate has a sense of humor. George Russell’s son is a Max Verstappen superfan, and George blames the mother entirely.
So here he is on Friday morning under a dreary English sky, trying to survive a race weekend while juggling one excitable five-year-old, a fawning nanny, and his own deeply unhelpful parents. Naturally, not twenty minutes into the day, he loses the child.
Then Max Verstappen walks in holding a blond-haired, blue-eyed boy in a Mercedes VIP lanyard and asks, “Who’s child is this?”One important detail: no one in the paddock knows little Nicki Russell exists. No one from Mercedes, not even Toto Wolff, and certainly not Max.
Unfortunately for George, Nicki has already decided this is going to be the best weekend of his life.

The box is still there, closed and inconspicuous on the pristine sheets. Dark blue, longer than it is wide- It could pass for one meant for a bottle, the likes of which await them on podiums every weekend, if one were to glance at it without paying attention.
But George pays attention. It feels like he’s memorized it in the three days he’s had it. There aren’t many hints as to what it is from the outside, except for the bold number sitting at the top. 33, in red letters. No cars, no faces, no bulls. It could be innocent. But he knows it’s not, not when the colors are so very familiar, not when he sees them almost every weekend, if not more often.
His fingers pull at the opening tab greedily, though he tries to hold himself back. The last thing he wants is to tear the fancy, velvet-smooth packaging. As soon as he manages to pry it open, he tips the box aside, letting its contents fall on the sheets. The toy is just as big as he remembers, but seeing it again is thrilling still.
Or: George stumbles upon an interesting toy online. It's only fair he compares it to the real thing.

Summary
The rash is there during the first race weekend.
It’s there when they run into each other while getting to the paddock, so visible under the collar of Max’s Red Bull polo, despite his attempt at pulling the fabric as high as it can go.
It’s there during qualifying, when Max finishes first and waves at the crowd, grinning bright. It can be seen peeking out on the only visible strip of skin under his helmet.
It’s there when they cross paths later between garages, just before the race, and Max doesn’t even look his way, doesn’t spare a glance. He’s too busy scratching at his throat absently, obviously focused on the upcoming race. His nails are digging ridges in the dry skin. It won't be long before he draws blood.
Or: Max Verstappen has never really shown his skin any care, until George Russell takes it upon himself to fix it for him.

No one bats an eye at them, not really. It’s an open secret around the paddock that they sometimes fuck when they’re not fighting and sometimes when they are fighting. It’s stress-relief, sex you don’t need to sign an NDA for. It works even if George causes him more stress than he relieves. At least he’s quiet with a dick in his mouth. Sometimes.

What would Tommy wear to a fun night of karaoke trivia?
A button-down?
Would button-downs fit him or would those buttons be enticingly barely hanging on, showing peaks of skin if he wasn’t careful? Tommy’s butt had looked great in jeans before. Buck wondered if Tommy would be in jeans again.
“Great. I need someone to be on my team,” explained Eddie like it was this whole thing that he had talked about with Tommy and Buck kind of wished he was there to see how Tommy was when he talked about a whole thing, “It was going to be Tommy and me, but apparently, a friend of his invited himself to trivia. Can you believe that?”
