When Obito was about to leave, the silver-haired boy who murdered their teammate had disappeared – he just didn't know when. Instead, lying in the blood was a middle-aged man clad in white robes. Inscribed on the back was five crimson, blood red kanji.
It read, ‘Rokudaime Hokage’.

Summary
Obito's personality whirls with ghosts of memories as quickly as Kakashi's nightmares, like sea waves, come and go, dragging all living things behind them.
Is it good when Obito copies someone long dead? Kakashi did that too, and it helped him climb back to the light. For the second time, she saves them.
And Kakashi is not able to recognize Uchiha Obito, who was carved many years ago on the granite of the monument to the heroes, and to whom he now touches - white-haired and morally exhausted.

Summary
When Kushina notices that Obito's a kinesthetic learner like her, she tries to ignore it. Really, she does—but Minato has no idea what he's doing when it comes to teaching him, and Kushina can't let the kid's potential be wasted like that. She takes on Obito as a student, then, and somehow gets Rin as one too. It changes... pretty much everything.
Kushina can’t shake that moment from from her mind. She can’t help but to remember all the times she’s heard him referred to as unmotivated, or lazy, or untalented.
Because now the pieces have clicked together, it’s become overwhelmingly clear that Obito is like her, but he doesn’t have the fallbacks she has. He doesn’t have the strength of being a jinchuuriki to back him up, or the chakra chains she’s had from the beginning. Worst of all, she thinks, he’s been pitted up against the most talented prodigy of his generation since day one, constantly compared and found to be lesser.
And Kushina knows Minato, knows he’ll do everything he can to make his kids get along, to eliminate any rivalries that might arise in the name of teamwork. That’s all fine and good, she supposes, but it’s not what Obito needs.

Summary
Life was a complicated mess. Kakashi had thought things had been complicated two years ago, but now Kakashi would laugh at the Kakashi of two years ago for his naïve thoughts. How innocent that Kakashi had been. He had no idea what had been due to come. That Kakashi had three terror students (or had, two of them were being trained by Sannin now). That Kakashi had also bonded to a man with a swirly mask known as Mr. Kidnapper (named by Kakashi) who was secretly an Uchiha. Said Mr. Kidnapper had also gotten him pregnant and they now had a two year old daughter, all while Naruto was due to return to Konoha.
So yes, Kakashi wished life would calm down, but that wouldn't happen. Not with the Akatsuki on the move (hunting Naruto), and Orochimaru (hunting Sasuke).
Kakashi swore he needed a holiday.
Kakashi would also love to find out Mr. Kidnapper's identity too. That would be nice.
