Summary
After witnessing the Knight attack Tenna, Spamton is brought back to a point earlier that night. With knowledge of what's to come, he tries to find a way to spare his ex-partner. Changing things isn't easy, though, and with each reset he feels a strange chill spreading through him. Even if traveling further back has him confronting all the things they were- and all the things they weren't- he has to try. Surely the next loop will be the one that succeeds.

Buying that ring was one of the dumbest decisions Spamton ever made, signing that damn contract notwithstanding. He should've thrown it away… but he never could bring himself to do it. Couldn't commit to proposing, but couldn't commit to giving up either, that embarrassing little flicker of hope refusing to die out. It was embarrassing, really -- you'd think he'd have learned by now. After all, who'd actually want to be tied down to Spamton G. Spamton?
