Will nods along with Robin’s blabber. He grabs her hand. “Hey, Steve’s okay. Eddie’s got him. He’ll be fine.” He pauses, biting his lip hard. “But, Rob, you really dropped the ball. Why didn’t you tell me they were in love? That would have answered my question immediately.”
Robin stares at him wide eyed and stonestill, “What?”
Will scrunches his brow, “Eddie held him like he was the most precious thing in the world. It was obvious once they were alone. They’re in love.”
Robin deflates and grabs his hand, “Oh, Will, no.” She squeezes his hand with soft sympathy. “Because they’re not.” She squeezes her eyes shut, scrunching her face in clear distaste of what she has to say. “Or at least I don’t think they know it yet.”

Set pre season 5 in the lost time.
Will accidentally (on purpose) becomes a silent witness to Steve and Eddie’s burgeoning new relationship. Will learns a little about life, love and himself.

Maybe not by blood but they’ve been a part of Claudia’s family from the moment her son sat in the passenger seat and declared, with all the indignation and sincerity of an eight year old, “We’re best friends, mom.”

To be clear, Ilya is grateful the rookies aren’t growing up the way he did in the NHL. Ilya took the hazing to the chin – humiliation rituals, beat downs, grueling practices to prove he could “hang” with the big guns on the team.
That being said, there’s still some part of Ilya that balks at the request by the gaggle of rookies to watch The Iron Giant, a veritable children’s movie at the team’s latest movie night.
OR: Five times Shane and Ilya were the support system for the Centaur rookies they dreamed of having when they were younger.

No, Steve Harrington has a dark past he's desperate to escape, however that gets much harder when Will Byers goes missing and Steve just can’t shake the feeling that something is very wrong in Hawkins, something that's pointing straight to his past. But everything will be fine, right? All he has to do is pretend everything is normal.

Robin soon learns this is true of other things besides rabies. Apparently, bat bites and lake water make for a very dangerous combination.
