- Class, I would like to introduce another student joining us today, - Stan looked at their teacher with mediocre interest, while Xeno paid no attention at all, continuing to read another very thick book.
The boy with red eyes and green tips of hair stood confidently enough, picking at his ear with his finger. He didn't look very friendly, but his good looks and unusual background quickly made him the center of attention of the crowd. Stan thought “Upstart”, Xeno “Arrogant.” Their classmates thought something of their own.
After the lesson had began, Stan continued to watch the new kid, who didn't seem very enthusiastic about the topic. "Apparently, the boy didn't like to study very much", Snyder concluded.
He hoped that if the kid fell behind, neither he nor Xeno would be forced to tutor him. They were in the middle of testing a new electric cannon, and it would be a shame to waste the time.
If Stan had been told a year ago that he would be friends with Xeno, he wouldn't have believed it.
Even less would he have believed that their little world, consisting of just the two of them, would soon be impossible without one more person.
They wanted him to stay.

Technoblade remembered the first time he noticed Dream acting strange in vivid detail.
The piglin had been on the server for but a week, and he and Dream planned a meeting to discuss the destruction of L’manberg without Wilbur’s increasingly disturbing ramblings. But Dream was late.
The second time Technoblade noticed Dream's weird behaviour, he was travelling the Nether, idly cutting down Wither Skeletons and collecting potion ingredients as he went.
The blond was stumbling as he ran through the Nether in the piglin’s direction, not that he seemed to notice this, he just seemed intent on moving as fast as possible. Technoblade turned his stance to face the Omega as he barrelled his way, and was surprised by just how unaware Dream was of his surroundings when the blond ran straight into him.
Personally, Technoblade was of the opinion that twice is already a thousand times too many.
