Kunikida is just trying to go on about his peaceful day when he get's tasked with taking care of a drunken Dazai. Dazai definitely drank too much, alchohol's always made him a bit soft around the edges.
It was just one stupid touch, but Kunikida's arms are so warm, and maybe Dazai hasn't been hugged in a while.

Summary
Chuuya and Dazai met four years ago. Those four years have been filled with childish bickering and a stubborn refusal to admit they cared about each other.
An aphrodisiac breaks down Dazai's walls. Their dynamic shifts accordingly, it feels okay in the moment, softness, affection, lust. Things hidden behind barriers and lines they never dared cross. If only this could last forever.
But aphrodisiacs are only temporary.

August 31st, 2003. Doppo Kunikida ditched his bike. He returned home awaiting a storm. Quickly, fearlessly, at the end of the summer break.
Someone was in his way. A dustrag of a young man, with an empty stare and a sharp tongue. In the hostile, chaotic city, that was an unwise approach.
Doppo offered him his umbrella.

“Odasaku! Don’t go!”
But he keeps walking. Farther and farther out of Dazai’s reach. Arm falling back to his side, he watches in a muted kind of horror as his friend walks away, without glancing back. He’s being left behind; he realizes and the thoughts makes his throat tighten. Left behind by his only friend. If Oda leaves now, if he goes, Dazai would have nothing left.
He cannot let that happen.
“If you leave now, I’ll…” He fumbles with his words, trying to think of something that would make Oda stay and reconsider. His panic speaks for him, words rushing out faster than he can think them through. “…I’ll kill myself!”
Oda stops walking.

Summary
“Listen," Dazai says. "They’re not going to let me contact any of you. In fact, they’ll probably threaten you to keep me in line, so stay on your toes. And I doubt I’ll be allowed to even take a piss without a guard making sure I don’t drown myself in a toilet. Which is why I need you to promise me something.”
Kunikida’s ideals take promises very, very seriously. To break one's word is a grave offense; therefore, be careful when you give it.
“Of course,” Kunikida says without hesitation “Anything. I swear.”Conversations before and after Mori takes Dazai back.
