Will took in a sharp breath, leaning back from the intensity of Mike's convictions. His voice was softer.
“Really?”
Mike grabbed Will's hand now. Clasping them in-between his two palms.
“Really. Will Byers, you are really special.”

Mike overhears Will's private coming out confession to his family, and Mike doesn't have much time to process it before he's running into his frustrated girlfriend who he may have just spur of the moment broken up with
no character bashing I wrote them all as fleshed out beings with trauma. El gets a happy ending too.

Summary
“What happens when you die?”
Rolan is a teenager, sitting on Rand’s well-worn couch. Kian was passed out, sprawled out, his head in Rand’s lap and feet in Rolan’s. Rand looked over at Rolan, raising an eyebrow. The movie was still going, the screams of the cheesy horror movie fading into the background as he made eye contact with his best friend.
“What’s got you thinking about that?” Rand asks, looking over at Rolan in the dark. His voice is low.
Rolan shrugs. He hugs his knees.
“Hmmm.” Rand thought for a second, looking at the screen, the lights bouncing off of his glasses. “I hope nothing happens.”
“Huh?” Rolan is surprised at the answer. How could you hope nothing happens?
“Yeah.” Rand nods, doubling down, like he just thought of the idea right then and there. “Existing forever sounds exhausting.” He then turned and looked Rolan in the eyes again, with a crooked grin on his face. “And plus, if Heaven was real, I wouldn’t be going there.” He winked

The boys are teenagers. Rolan is a ghost. Kian is holding it together. Rand is falling apart. Some classic COC cult shenanigans ensure.

Summary
Shilo hated that he didn't know what to do. How to comfort, how to have a friend. How to show he cared, or to be on equal footing with someone. He only knew how to command, not how to bend down on one knee to comfort someone who had fallen. For why would a Prince ever need to kneel?
- After the compulsion on Shilo drops, so does the command on all the Queen's victims. All the Queen's guards and all the Queen's men... is that why Grefgor seemed so one dimensional?
Aka- Grefgor remembers his past after the Queen's control dies off and he talks about it with Shilo :)

Grace's webbed hands press against the glass, his curious chitters surprising the young man standing next to the viewport he was observing from. He’s newer on the team, Grace jogs his memory for his name again.
The young man holds his hand to his chest, breathing a sigh of relief, “Oh hey, Grace. Come to see your new neighbor?”
He nods, chirping his burning question, “Who is it?”
“Dunno,” Chris, right, that’s his name– “It’s another mer.”
(Or, Rocky and Adrian are helped by a merman named Grace, and in turn they save him. Now happily living in the Erid Marine Rehabilitation & Research Center, Grace is surprised when another injured merman named Simon is brought to recover in a neighboring tank. Perhaps, these two lost souls may finally have a home, together.)

Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.
