Summary
A great growl reverberates from the hollow. The men Baelor brought with him take a step back. Murmuring breaks out that he silences with a fist in the air. Something beyond pride roots him in place. The animal part of his brain understands that the thing down there is a predator larger than himself. It takes a moment to remember how the sounds are supposed to feel in his mouth, it takes a couple of tries before he dares to sound out the vowels, but the “Ser Duncan?” does in the end ring out clearly in the clearing. The rustling sound from the creature in the hollow stops. Slowly, it reveals itself.
He should be surprised, but he’s not. This feels like it was always meant to be, and he had just unknowingly been waiting around for the time to come.
Head low and shoulders hunched. Great wings are held tightly to its body as it slowly crawls out. It’s drenched so extensively in mud that the color of its hide is unextinguishable, but its eyes are a clear blue. A dragon is standing before him.AKA:

Summary
It starts with a notice in the mailbox. It’s mistaken for another ad for whatever cheap fiber network is and thus promptly ignored. The massive sign on the gate proudly spelling out “Whiterock Redevelopment” is a bit harder to ignore. It’s even harder to ignore when a group of renovation workers are suddenly standing outside their door, talking about how to replace the insulation and the wiring but preserve the stucco.
Charles and Edwin's building gets bought up to make space for god knows what. It is safe to say that they oppose the change. That building is their building. It’s filled with good memories of Charles and Edwin getting to know one another. It’s filled with memories of their cases and getting into and out of trouble and long nights filled with comfortable silence except the sound of their old building groaning like it is breathing. Neither boy will settle for less. The rest of London will just have to live with the ensuing chaos.

Summary
The ride was a bit of a spontaneous decision born more out of a want to escape than any real purpose. The wedding planning is in full swing, or if you ask Hans, the bartering of his freedom, so now they are here. On a road in the dark, with stars dotting the sky above them like the daisies in the lush fields surrounding them. Henry is without a saddle, so Hans can sprawl across his broad back like a barn cat.
“The Greeks and Romans named star constellations to honor deeds or figures.” Hans says nonchalantly.

Summary
Once upon a time, he didn't feel like this. Old age and having lived the life of a blacksmith, knight and now captain of the guard, has taken its toll. Henry’s body is betraying him, and it scares him. Something has made his body its home. New urges overwhelm him. It pulls at him to walk through the gate and not stop until the thing is sated.
One night, he gets up and leaves for the forest.
Hans hasn't seen Henry since he left their bed. Days are passing, with everyone none the wiser. The game master found the remains of his clothes in a clearing. Shredded, but not bloody. The mystery doesn't concern most of the city. They are more interested in the rumour about a massive white stag with golden antlers haunting the forest. Half the town is wondering what they could get if they managed to kill it. -

Summary
It should be said before anything else that Radzig never regretted Henry's birth. He just wishes that he could have gotten him under better circumstances. He wishes that Henry had not been saddled with being a cursed bastard. That he is not seen as other or a monster by most people.
Radzig might not have been able to claim Henry as his, but that doesn't mean that he wasn't watching as Henry grew up. Life can be cruel, but that doesn't mean that there wasn’t still a lot of joy. He got to watch as Henry went from shy colt, to mischievous child, and all the way to young man, and one of the finest warriors he has ever met.
Much has happened since Skalitz burned. The task before them is a perfect chance to get to know his son. It’s time to return to Skalitz. See if there is something to be done to right the world again.

Summary
Henry wasn't born like this, but he was cursed early enough that it doesn't really matter. Life as a centaur is complicated. Even more so when your whole world is razed to the ground and death dogs your step. What does it mean to be a cursed creature stuck between animal and man in a world that is only getting more complicated? Is there space for someone like him? Will he be put down when he stops being useful? Thank God, Hans Capon seems as lost in the world as he is. Henry might be lost, and the forest might be dark, but he’s not alone.
