Summary
Pushing off the kitchen counter, Fushiguro stepped in close, that tension threatening to bubble over once again as he moved into Itadori’s face. They stared for a moment, green eyes boring into brown. At the last second, Fushiguro snapped out of it and smacked Itadori up the back of the head.
“Come on, did you come just to mess around? Or are you actually gonna help me?” Fushiguro pointed out the heaping piles of wood and broken furniture that he was using Itadori’s muscle to rid the house of.
“Yeah, yeah. I know how it is, you just want me for my body.”
Itadori had meant for it to land as a joke; it was a joke, but given their history, there was a firm undertone to the comment that he didn’t mean to let slip.

Summary
“Megumi…?”
The soft, sleep-heavy sound didn’t register. Megumi was preoccupied with ripping at his bedshirt, tearing at the fabric as if that was the sole pressure on his chest.
There was a wobble of the mattress as something - someone - shifted beside him, a firm hand clapped onto his back, and that did startle him, but not enough to break his panic.
“Megumi, I’m here.” Yuuji’s voice was cautious as he called out, the wisps of sleep gone when he realised the state his partner was in.

Minho didn't have to prompt him any further before Jisung spilled more explanation, "Mum wants to meet you.”
That raised Minho's eyebrows, and he cocked his head in question.
Rubbing his neck awkwardly, Jisung looked down at his lap as he admitted, “She thinks we’re dating.”
Or: When alpha Jisung takes omega Minho home for the holidays to appease his mother, Minho certainly doesn't expect to end the trip with an increased knowledge of Jisung's body, and a decreased understanding of where their relationship stands.

Jisung squirmed and Minho grabbed at his waist, physically holding him down to stop more of the liquor from slipping away and making a bigger mess on his coffee table. Minho chose to ignore the strangled sound Jisung made at being grabbed.
“Laying here,” Jisung eventually answered, “Waiting for my friend to suck soju from my body because he said I had the perfect stomach for it.”

“Oh? What prompted the need for your ‘fresh start’?” asks Jisung. He pops one of the transmission bolts free and scurries after it as it rolls across the ground.
Minho quirks a brow at the clumsy display, stuffs his hands in his pockets. The cute little mechanic is amusing, he’ll admit. Makes him want to say something completely out-of-left-field just to see his reaction; he imagines big round eyes, a disconcerted pout. Adorable.
Minho shrugs. “I fumbled one too many romantic prospects east of the Continental Divide, and I have too much of a pariah complex to handle it maturely.”

Or: Following another catastrophic end to a long list of failed relationships, Minho decides to pack up and start his life anew, but his plans are thwarted when his car breaks down on his drive across the Rocky Mountains. He’s then forced to take up temporary residence in the nearby lakeside town while he waits for his car to be repaired by the cute local mechanic.
