“Alright, what would you like then, I doubt I can offer you anything you could not get yourself.” Harry said, feeling slightly more alive the longer their banter proceeded. It was an invigorating conversation that felt like they were flirting and bartering all in one go.
“Think, Potter, what have you never given anyone before that you could give me?” Zabini teased.
Harry burst into an incredulous laughter. “Alright, I want you to kill my relatives, Petunia, Vernon and Dudley Dursley, they live in Surrey, Privet Drive number four, for that I will offer you my first kiss.” Harry mocked, equally aware of the outrageous demand on his side and the preposterousness of a Slytherin wanting something like a kiss from him of all people.
Zabini looked momentarily shocked before he too burst into a booming laughter that made Harry’s stomach swirl with unbidden emotion. “Deal.”

Summary
When Arthur discovered Merlin’s magic, he thought it was the last of Merlin’s mysteries. Looking back at all the strange excuses, secret trips out of the castle, and odd bits of wisdom on subjects he was meant to know nothing about, ‘sorcerer’ seemed to explain all of it.
...but the secret trips didn’t end after Arthur lifted the magic ban, and neither did the excuses.
(AKA, the one where Merlin puts together an illegal necromancy ring, and everyone except Arthur is in on it.)

Summary
Something tugged at his core and he looked up, confused as he glanced around the store. “Harry?” He shook his head lightly and turned to follow the tug. He weaved through the stacks of dusty books, glancing around in wonder as he tried to pinpoint what exactly he was looking for. He stopped in front of a bookcase, covered in a thick layer of dust. Hermione held onto the back of his shirt nervously, looking around at all the dark leather bound books. “Harry? What are we doing over here?”
He reached out, feeling his core flare up as he passed over the books with the tip of his index finger. His eyes caught on a certain title and he stopped on it. He could feel the ease of the tug when he slid it out of the shelf.
Pulvis et umbra sumus.

After blowing up Aunt Marge; Harry takes a trip to Gringotts bank and his world is flipped around, again. Now, with a clear head, he traverses the wizarding world with an open mind and a plan to take down two of the greatest wizards in the world.
