Summary
High and mighty waves riveted higher and higher. His neck grew sore, he stumbled back as he tilted his head upwards, losing track of the building current. The violent storms and pouring rain momentarily stopped. It was only when did he realize the crashing, towering waves of the ocean acted as a cloak from the rainfall above.
"You are safe here, Legend." Time ran a hand through his sweat-dampened bangs, raising an eyebrow at the piping temperature before sliding his cold palm to The Veteran's forehead. "Safe where I can see you."
Legend's head whipped to the sides, soaked hair clinging to the sides of his face. Eyes wide and burning as he searched for red. As he searched for any sight of her.
"Marin!" He cried, voice unheard of over the clash and roars of thunder.
The ground beneath him split, a rush of panic jolting through him as though he'd been electrified.
"Marin!!" The towering waves above, with power like no other, finally lost the last of its momentum. Pinned to the ground by the uselessness of his own legs, Legend hadn't a choice but to stare as the Sky came crashing down.

"Your friend." Wind parroted. Attentive, Sky scooted closer, The Chosen Hero suddenly more awake at the boy's words. Legend fought the urge to shush him, and perhaps run off in shame. Instead, he simply shifted to sit on his hands, to keep himself in place.
"Yeah. My best friend." Legend breathed. His gaze flitted by to the rest of camp, searching with wide and scared eyes through their expressions.
