There was one thing that didn’t change though. Wei Ying’s obsession with Lan Zhan just kept getting deeper the more she discovered. It was like testing out the waters. Trying to dip your toes in it at first, but suddenly being fully dragged into the masses of the ocean, never to resurface again. She’d been swallowed whole and there wasn’t a way out for her.

Lan Wangji pulled out his laptop and began to write. “Mn. I was going to directly contact your parent, but I could not find their contact information.”
Sizhui wasn’t exactly surprised. “He must’ve forgotten to send in his information. It sounds like something he would’ve done,” he smiled.
Lan Wangji was still tapping on the keyboard as he continued, “Then we’ll have to fix that. What is your dad’s name?”
“His name is Wei Ying.”

The sound of the outer door closing had never been this loud before. Wei Wuxian stood there speechless. It was as if he had heard the sound of his own heart breaking.
His knees turned into water. He fell to the ground as a tear dropped from his eye. So this is what the shattering of a heart sounds like.. Wei Wuxian sobbed.or,
Wei Wuxian has a pity party by himself after a breakup with Lan Wangji. Jiang Cheng is done with their bullshit and decides that he has to fix this misunderstanding between them. Some angst, but it's mostly just crack and misunderstandings. -

Summary
A burst of talisman-shaped flame appears in the air before Lan Wangji’s eyes. Out of that flame and onto the table drops—a letter.
“What is that?” shufu demands.
Lan Wangji plucks the letter off the table. He recognizes Wei Ying’s scrawl: Lan Zhan, Cloud Recesses, followed by the name of a town several li away, as well as a cramped set of instructions on how to send a reply through the same flame-burst method.
The happiness that shoots through him is so fierce that it almost frightens him.
“Correspondence,” he says finally, tucking the letter into his sleeve, “for the Chief Cultivator.”
In which Lan Wangji wants Wei Ying, and writes to Wei Ying, and waits for Wei Ying to come home.

Summary
There were two universal truths for college students that Langa had come to realize during his first semester: ‘8 AMs’ were a product of Satan himself and coffee (or any other form of caffeine, really) was man’s true best friend.
So it came as no surprise that he stopped by the coffee shop every Monday morning before class and when he needed a pick-me-up. Whether the mood boost was due to the caffeine or the barista who was like sunshine incarnate and always spelled his name wrong on his cup, that was becoming harder to tell with every visit.
Or, in an attempt to flirt, barista Reki spells Langa's name on his drinks in the most ridiculous ways possible, and it goes completely over Langa's head.
