Summary
After failing to take over Heaven and almost killing half of Pentagram City, Vox has fallen into a state of disrepair, spending most of his days in bed, depressed.
This all comes to a head after an incident with Val and Vel, revealing to the both of them just how bad it's gotten. The two decide the best way to get him to feel better is to get him up and working again. Unluckily for Vox, this means returning to his very first model, and he's never told either of them how to perform the procedure.
Now lacking memories of every moment spent in Hell, Vincent is thrust into a world that already knows him, an entire life he cannot remember, and partners he can't seem to find common ground with.
Yet one thing in specific keeps plaguing Vincent's mind... Who exactly is this Radio Demon, and why does he remind him so much of someone he once listened to in the past?

A single, sharp thump against his ribs. Hard enough to feel. Hard enough that his breath hitched. He couldn’t stop watching Vox. Vox shining. Vox gloating. Vox destroying the King of Hell in front of thousands. Vox basking in triumph like it was a second skin.
The cameras zoomed in on his grin. The curve of neon light across his face, lit like desire or malice or both. Alastor’s fingers flexed against the restraints. The ropes burned. He liked it. Hated that he liked it. His smile didn’t break, but it faltered, just a flicker, a millisecond, a glitch. He felt heat coil in his gut, something foreign and unwelcome and dangerously alive.
“Damn you,” he whispered, barely audible, his radio voice cracking beneath the words.

"There’s silence for a moment, oppressive—Pentagram City never sleeps, not really: this is the silence of a dead thing. It weighs on Alastor, in a way that death, usually, does not. Vox’s body wheezes, squelches, crackles; his systems struggle to stay online as blood and coolant pour from the space where his torso ends, body blown to pieces by his own weapon. Funny, that his attempts to destroy Alastor destroyed him, instead. Perhaps it was always meant to end this way."
OR: Valentino's intervention comes a moment too late, and Pentagram City is destroyed. Two sinners remain in the aftermath.
