“You are planning to rob me or what?” He hears Rozanov call, and he can’t help but smile slightly even as he rolls his eyes, closing the door to the linen closet and feeling strangely lighter than when he opened it, reassured that he’s just trying to read into a blank page, that today doesn’t mean anything more than Rozanov doesn’t mind him being around, which is strangely flattering.
“I don’t know,” he calls back. “Don’t Russians like diamonds and fur and stuff? Where should I start looking if I want to know what my options are?”
He hears Rozanov laugh, and it makes him smile.
When he joins him in the living room once more, Rozanov tugs him down to lean against him again. Shane goes easier this time, settling into it, knowing it doesn’t mean anything other than the fact that he just happens to be the closest warm body, the person on Rozanov’s roster who filled today’s slot.

It's been many years since Viktor was human, many years spent stuck in this false form, but Viktor can still remember what it felt like to hold someone in his arms. To curl his human body around theirs and share their warmth. For now, though, the closest he can get to that is fluffing himself up and snuggling up against the curve of Yuuri's neck. Gently nibbling at Yuuri's round cheeks to hear that soft laughter that only he gets to hear. Craning his head for scratches from Yuuri's gentle fingers and chattering to show his contentment.
Viktor is a bird who used to be a human, but all that really matters is that he gets to stay with Yuuri forever.

Victor Nikiforov has always had an affinity for cats. Living by himself, he kept a little Russian Blue kitten named Yurio.
Yurio had better things to do than obey his owner. There was a vase that was waiting to be knocked off, and a sofa leg that was calling out for him to scratch it up. Although he didn’t show it, he did love his owner a lot. He enjoyed having his owner dote upon him, and only him. Yurio was the king of the house and he would not share his space or his owner with anyone else.
Except, one day, there was a cardboard box outside of the house, with a shivering, fluffy, rather chubby cat inside. The moment Victor picked up the box and cooed at the occupant of it, Yurio knew his world was about to turn upside down.

Victor can’t help the shiver that makes its way down his spine, because wow, Yuuri is so pissed off at Victor right now and Victor is so turned on because of it.
