Since then, he followed the wind, not knowing how much his life would change from that.

Summary
In Roman's mind, this was yet another activity he had planned with his brother, Remus, to take their family for their long-deserved ''Imagi-cation Getaway''!! And what was better than a Haunted House, for Halloween?
Roman was so excited, that he didn't once doubt giving Remus full liberty with the details on it, maybe too much that the plans his twin had told him didn't quite surprise him... to the point that he dared call them ''not too creative''... now the line weightening with regret on the back of his memory at the thought of possibly ruining what they had going on now after later events...
With no one but himself to blame after Remus' mysterious disappearence, followed by Janus getting separated by the cursed house the Sides were inside of, Roman rushed to keep the others safe while looking for Janus... Even when some not really charming creatures that started appearing weren't going to make his task any easier.
(Inspired by ''Imagi-Cation Getaway'' by Fandombead! Can be read on it's own, but it was based on it so I heavily recommend to read it!)

Summary
The sky cracked, beyond the soft blue of the sunrise was a void, dark and creating more spindles and winding edges as if the sky barrier above their town was a glass dome. Roman had never known magic to be so destructive as to shatter the sky and make the clouds fall with it, shrouding the area in dense fog and raining shards. Roman tripped more often, unable to see a foot in front of him let alone either of his own, but he knows it was mostly just the valley in front of him. And it hadn’t been much further to the border meant to protect them.

Summary
Sonic Alternative Universe based on a few of the games concepts! Gist of it being Sonic being alive by the time project Shadow started and being sent to ARK for DNA!

It’s been five years since Izuku has last stepped foot there, but the words Aldera Middle School still bring him an unprecedented amount of dread. It’s accompanied by middle school reunion scribbled underneath which has the added bonus of making Izuku want to go hide under Iida’s desk and not come out.
He puts the letter, unopened, on his desk and resolves not to think about it.
“You’re just going to let them win?”
… Izuku resolves to not think about it for the two seconds that Kacchan allows him not to think about it.
or: Two years after graduating UA, Aldera Middle School hosts its first middle school reunion in honor of not one, but two former students graduating and becoming pros.
Izuku’s not quite sure he even wants to go, until suddenly he does.

“I’m Midoriya Izuku,” he said, extending his hand. “By the way.”
The boy didn’t take it right away.
Instead, his gaze dropped to Izuku’s hand, lingering on the scars that crossed his knuckles and fingers—old fractures, healed wrong. For a moment, his expression flickered with something Izuku couldn’t place. Hesitation. Fear.Then, slowly, the boy lifted his own hand.
He reached out.And passed straight through.
A sharp, electric chill tore up Izuku’s arm, pins and needles erupting where their hands should have met. The sensation was wrong—too cold, too empty—and Izuku gasped, yanking his arm back as if burned.
“What the f—“
He looked up, horror flooding his chest, green eyes blown wide.The boy only smiled.
It wasn’t the dazzling grin from before. It was smaller. Sadder. Like he’d known this would happen and had been bracing for it all along.
The boy laughed softly, as he said, “Name’s Shirakumo Oboro,” he said. “And I’m— well. Not—”
The word landed fully formed in Izuku’s mind before it was ever spoken.
Ghost.
OR:

Toshinori’s gaze drifted toward the closed door of the hospital room, where Midoriya rested. Whatever response he’d prepared stalled on the way out. The lie—strictly professional—sounded thin even to his own ears.
Naomasa could almost see it: the walls Toshinori had spent years building, the ones meant to keep him isolated, self-sacrificing, untouchable. And right through the center of them—
A massive, boy-shaped hole.
“He’s just… a persistent child,” Toshi muttered at last, though the words lacked any real bite.
“Uh-huh,” Naomasa replied dryly.
“He’s a bit odd,” Toshi added, grasping for a more reasonable explanation—something easier than admitting emotional attachment.
“I understand,” Naomasa said, not sounding like he thought oddness was the point at all.
“And an absolute crybaby.”
“Well,” Naomasa shrugged lightly, “nobody’s perfect.”
