Reality blurs, time collapsing in on itself, and only All for One, pressed suits and white-tablecloth dinners and family, breaks the monotony.
Izuku is waiting, always waiting—watching for the moment he needs to finally escape the monster that destroyed everything. And then this hero, an impossibility wrapped in horrific power, pushes that forest prayer closer, makes a promise that Izuku wants to hide forever in.

Summary
In the depths of a vault, a boy and his guardian fight to hold on to the last fragments of their lives.
Izuku Midoriya, torn from his home and forcibly molded by his father, All For One, lives under the weight of broken promises and silent terrors. Until the guardian arrives who will protect him and continue to hold him captive.
Shouta Aizawa, captured by villains and forced to follow orders without will, is locked away with an nine-year-old kid, given a single mission: protect him and never let him escape.
But in the midst of their confinement, what began as an imposed order will transform into a bond impossible to break — something even All For One won't be able to control.

Forced to obey All For One's command, Aizawa is placed in a vault to protect and prevent any escape attempt by the son of the symbol of evil, Izuku. Unwittingly, protecting him will become something far greater than a simple order.

The kid’s head snaps up, eyes wide and startled. “Huh?!”
Shouta pauses, taking note of his glazed eyes, bleary focus and clumsy movement.
“Sensei?” Midoriya squints at him as if noticing for the first time he was there. He glances at the buildings and trees around them in confusion. “Are we outside?”
It’s then Shouta realizes—Midoriya was drugged out of his mind.(OR: the one where Shouta goes on a late-night campus patrol and finds his Problem Child delirious from painkillers.)

If the last two years were a dream, there would be no way that Izuku would still hold One for All. He would be alone.

Izuku's face has been carefully hidden on his desk, the same way it always is when he dreams of career day. Slowly, he sits up. Leaning his head against his arm, he tilts his head so that he can look to the left.
Kacchan is staring at him. His chest heaves like he's run a marathon in a moment. Sweat drips down his arms, shimmering with the oily shine of nitro, as he grips his desk. He looks rattled, but he's got his game face on.
Do you know? He seems to ask silently. Are you with me?
Izuku straightens the rest of the way, trying to carefully balance alertness with the appearance of meekness. He looks Kacchan dead in the eyes and nods.
