“It would have been pleasant if a certain servant had stopped prattling on during the entirety of it.“ Arthur gave the black haired boy a pointed look, but the servant just shrugged and turned to Balinor.
„Don‘t mind him. He woke up at the wrong side of the bed today, which wasn‘t my fault, may I add. I‘m Merlin.“
And then he stuck out his hand, oblivious to the way Arthur‘s mouth dropped openOr, during the Great Purge, Balinor can convince Uther not to kill all dragons. Instead, Uther magically imprisons him and the remaining dragons at the Dragon's Keep. Now, almost twenty years later, prince Arthur regualary comes to check on him. Things change, when he brings a certain manservant with him.

“You-” Ygraine said, stepping up to point a finger in Uther’s face. “You are a liar and a murderer. The fact you think someone as sweet and caring as Vivienne is destined to marry you is a tragedy in itself, but if you expect me to hand over my brother’s rightful claim to Camelot’s throne-”
“My claim to Camelot’s throne,” Uther threw back, face growing more red as Arthur looked between his parents in utter bewilderment. Merlin didn’t blame him. He had envisioned Uther and Ygraine’s love story to be more… well, less based in war and battles.
Ygraine’s eyes narrowed as she grabbed a goblet of wine and threw it in Uther’s face. A few of the guards shifted, but Uther only raised a hand to pause them, spitting out the wine with furious eyes.
“You,” Ygraine said coldly. “Are unworthy to sit upon a stool, let alone a throne.”
From a few feet away, Balinor scoffed as he sipped from his own goblet. “I kind of like having her as a hostage, Uther. She livens up the place.”

In a desperate attempt to save Arthur at Camlann, Merlin tries to reverse time. It works perhaps a tad too well.

Merlin let out a high pitched and bird-like noise in response.
(Or the one where Grettir was more vague and so there's much confusion in who is Courage, who is Strength, and who is Magic. But especially that last one.)

Summary
Amity is a normal girl with a normal life. Sure, she hates her parents and she's come 200 miles away from home with the excuse of university just to get away from them, but her life is fine. She studies, goes back to her humble house that is way too big for one person, and tries to make herself dinner. It doesn't always go well, but she manages.
The point is, she's normal. So why doesn't she feel threatened by the girl following her around town? How does she find it in herself to try and follow her stalker?
TL;DR: Amity finds love in an unexpected place, the Girl-as Amity dubs her- reveals a secret, and multiple heartbreaks happen.

When Merlin gets thrown into the dungeon because of his magic he expects some quiet, lonely hours until Arthur is back from a visit to the lower town.
He is not ready, however, for several (ridiculous) breakout attempts by various knights that may or may not go as planned.
