Glancing at the bedside table, Gansey looks back to Ronan. “Are either of you hungry? You know what—never mind. You barely ate earlier, you’re getting food anyway.” With a kiss to Ronan’s temple, Gansey gets up, adjusting not just the quilt over Ronan’s lap but also the blanket over Adam, tugging it just a little further up. “Text if you need anything.”
As soon as the door closes, Ronan slumps against Adam, head against his. “This okay?”
“The” —Adam waves his hand between himself and Ronan— “this, or Gansey mother henning me?”
“Both. Either.”
Adam sniffles, gently pressing his head against Ronan’s. “This is nice. Gansey” —he hesitates for a moment— “I’m getting used to it.”
