Summary
Dazai's life was built from trades, and while he knew not every trade he made or was involved in was fair, he didn't realise how much that fact nagged on his soul. It hadn't mattered though, and after he had left the mafia, he could ignore the parts of himself he gave away as something lost to time. Too bad old habits were too hard to get rid of when faced with the prospect of convenience.
Who's he kidding though, it was never truly about convenience, a fact Chuuya learned first, and what the ADA learned next. -

Katsuki trusted things he could see, things he could feel. Things he could back up with his own power. Souls were not included, so he didn't necessarily believe they existed. Really, he didn't even think about them, or hearts, or true love, or any of that bullshit. He didn't know or care if it existed and he didn't need to know, either.
Slowly but surely, one Kirishima Eijirou saves his life, remains by his side, and changes his mind.

Deku laughs a little, even though he looks happy to hear it. “That’s very sweet,” he says, “but I meant out of everyone else.”
Oh. Eri considers this, but after what happened today she doesn’t really have to think about it. “Kacchan,” she tells him. She likes Kacchan because he’s nice and because he doesn’t treat her like she’s fragile and because he made her cookies. And she knows Deku likes him a lot, too, so she knows it’s a good answer.
“Do you want to know a secret, Eri?” Deku smiles again. “Kacchan is my favorite, too.”
Or Katsuki makes it his business to befriend Eri, and realizes he has a lot in common with this traumatized kid.
