In the dragon’s place was a man clad in the finest armour Roran had ever seen, a shield strapped to his back and wielding a wicked red sword with all the grace and deadliness of a warrior god. As Roran watched, not a single man got past to get to Roran, leaving him with nothing to do but stare in awe as the rider, for that’s clearly who he was, cut down Empire soldiers like they were nothing more than children playing at war."

But when Merlin met the victim of Aithusa’s burglary, he was pleasantly surprised to find Arthur, a man who had never in his life seen a dragon let alone a burglarizing one, and Cavall, a curious German Shepherd puppy who was quick to befriend the little white dragon.
