    saiki k oneshots, probably a focus on chat fics bc i love them, if there are any romantic pairings it'll probs be kubosai and also probably relatively minor

    we're using comedy/tragedy in the traditional, shakespearean fashion, so it doesn't have to be particularly *funny,* just like. no one dies and it's mostly lighthearted

    we're using comedy/tragedy in the traditional, shakespearean fashion, so it doesn't *have* to be particularly *sad,* just like. no distinctly happy endings

    He’s never been properly been a hero, never been like Major, or Gem, or any of the more localized heroes in Empire City. He’s not a villain, though—he’s nothing like Xornoth, Major’s nemesis. Jimmy’s more of … he’s more of an antihero, something in between.

    Nobody particularly likes him, but he's a dangerous enemy, so they just sort of. Leave him alone. That is, until Xornoth, the foremost villain in the country, kidnaps him.

    or, the trope where the villain turns up on the hero’s doorstep injured saying, “i had nowhere else to go...” and collapses.

    Sunny thinks about it. He likes Kel, his big smile and his warm hands and his carefree attitude. He’s funny and nice and he makes Sunny feel comfortable. There are very few people who Sunny is really okay with touching him, with looking at him and seeing him so completely in the way that Kel does… but Kel is definitely one of them.

    So… Sunny nods. And then he scoots closer and puckers his lips, because he’s not really sure what else to do. Kel adjusts himself a few times, and Sunny can feel it from where he’s sitting, and then—

    It’s the quickest little peck of their lips. It makes a smacking sound, not unlike the big mwah! Mari makes every time she kisses Sunny on the head. It’s such a brief touch, all Sunny can really process in the wake of it is that Kel’s lips are… really, really warm. And chapped. Sunny feels in his pocket for chapstick, then hesitates, since he’s been using it on his own lips and it’d probably be weird to offer.

    On the other hand, if that kiss just now means they’re dating, maybe it’s not weird.

    Mari says that she knew she and Hero were dating the first time they kissed. Sunny takes this to heart after a practice kiss with Kel.
