Spider didn't know what that expression meant but in his 16 years of life he never saw anything like that and he suddenly became self conscious of how his skin had goosebumps and his all of his body had this sensation that the situation just felt weird.
Was it worth it?Was he going to regret doing this?Does he even had an option?.

And if even he would try- which he wasn't -his expression probably wouldn't be anything apart from the genually scared child-ish look he had.

Summary
A lot can happen in Twenty years.
A lot can happen in One Year.
And a lot can happen in just three months.
When John Dory returns home only three months later after the big fight with his brothers, he is devastated to find the Troll Tree Empty. Dead. And destroyed.He had nothing left. But, even though he'll be reunited with his brothers in the after life, maybe he'll find solace in writing them letters. Each one deserves a specified letter filled with his regrets and apologies. Then he leaves the Troll Tree for the final time.
Years later, the brother's read the letters he left them, and most are regretful of their past actions. All are in mourning. All they want is their brother back, and to regain what they lost.
Little did they know, that their mournful prayers were heard. And those prayers will be answered.
