And I don’t want to look at them and their overeager face either so I look at the plants instead, which is a mistake because while I never really got what humans see in excessive vegetation- too much mess for me- there’s one that’s set just a little apart from the rest, just far enough that it’s noticeably alone, and- well. It’s small. It’s sad. It’s kinda wilted. It also happens to be directly in front of me.
