Summary
This takes place about 5 years after part 1.
Will is starting high school, and it’s his first time at public school since he was younger. He’s always had an interpreter or bee around other kids and teachers who knew ASL. Now he has a tablet to communicate for the rare nonverbal days.
His first day is really bad before it gets really good. Will is so excited to finally make some friends. Public school might not be so bad!
Of course, public school and new friendships come with some added ups and downs. It’s all very new to Will, and Lee and Luke have a new set of challenges as his parents. Unexpectedly, Will making new friends becomes a huge blessing to Lee and Luke, too. Will’s friends come with a group of really incredible parent friends. Lee, Luke, and Will’s support system grows beyond anything they could have hoped for.
