Summary
If anyone asked, Robby could easily tell the story with a lovesick smile and eyes focused only on the younger man as if he hung the moon and stars himself. A rough hand caressing his arm before intertwining their fingers.
“It was almost like fate.” He would say, awe in his tone, still surprised at how this man chose to be with him.
If anyone asked Dennis, he would look at you with furrowed eyebrows and a slowly reddening face as he’d reply, “What do you mean? Dr. Robby and I aren’t dating.”

Summary
When Dennis agrees to be the temporary on-site doctor for a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game as a favor to a classmate from medical school, he’s not expecting much. He’s not the first-choice to be team doctor, and he’s definitely not a hockey guy. His plan is simple: hide out on the sidelines until he can go home and crawl into bed. Funny how plans change.
Or: Ilya takes a slapshot to the face and gets treated by a doctor who looks like a wet kitten.

Summary
Trinity was family in every way that counted. The thought of packing up the last of his things and making Robby’s place his official home left a quiet ache in Dennis's chest, even as the pull toward something more permanent with Robby grew stronger every day. It felt like choosing between two homes, and he wasn’t ready to let go of either. He was ashamed of his greed.
A mix of emotions crossed her face as her eyes flickered between him and the road, soft and exasperated. “You know, man, you’re such a fuckin’ Huckle—OH SHIT!”
The words cut off abruptly as she jerked the wheel. The tires screeched against asphalt, the world tilting violently as metal crunched and the car spun. Dennis’s stomach dropped, his hands flying out to brace against the dash, and then everything went black.
Or, a terrible accident forces Robby, Dennis, and Trinity to get their shit together.
