Summary
“My doughty Windfola, you carry us brave and true,” her Rider says, in a low and gentle voice. She is in her armor where the other Rohirrim doff theirs for the night, and keeps her helm pulled low over her brow until all around her are asleep and cannot see her face.
The Rohirrim call this Rider Dernhelm, but the small companion who shares her saddle whispers a different name when they are away from others’ ears. She feeds Windfola a carrot and a handful of hay, and she snorts her gratitude in turn and accepts her Dernhelm’s favors, granted a smile and a fond pat, too.
Windfola's Rider is something of an oddity, but they ride to battle together, nonetheless.

“Who is her mother?”
The relief on Uncle Brynden’s face fell away with the question, and he looked back out the window. Father’s pyre was but a small, bright speck upon the river now, either too far away for sight or else burnt down such that there was nothing more to see.
“That is yet a trickier part of this to explain,” he admitted. “She has no mother. Or, rather, she was not mothered from a woman’s womb, for there was a woman who raised her and whom she called ‘Mother’ very dearly, who held no blood to her whatsoever in truth.” He smiled shallowly at the confusion which must have shown on Catelyn’s face. “I bore her.”
“I-” Catelyn began, but cut herself short to make sure she had not misheard him.
On Catelyn Stark and Brynden Tully, and a long-held secret that comes to light as Catelyn tries already to come to terms with the trying tides of civil war.
(Or, an AU where Catelyn is a bastard, and learns this at probably the worst time possible).

Summary
Morgan Foster’s house rang with silence, still and flooded with light in the way the afternoon could make the world seem a photograph of a memory. Some long-divorced and quietly murmuring instinct recorded the notion for a poem which would never make paper.
The silence would surely kill her.
Glenn lives, returning at the end of the adventure to an empty house and nothing much more.
Meanwhile, Morgan is caught in a miserable state. Jodie and Nicholas have fucked off to Hell of all places, leaving her with nothing but a few forlorn hugs goodbye and promises to visit. And then, she’s getting these dreams about having a kid with her college boyfriend. Which definitely never, ever happened.

Theon had never kept up illusions that he was by any degree a romantic. He never fell too fond of the wenches of Winter Town, nor did he dream of the sorts of blissful marriages Sansa had sung about in their youths. But he realized, too late, that he must have been something of an idealist, at least. For he looked upon the woman soon to be made his wife, and felt a little well of hope he had not known to exist fizzle out and turn to ash in his stomach.
After the Boltons take the North, Tywin arranges for their Greyjoy hostage to be wed to his widowed daughter, to treaty some peace with Balon. Theon is unhappy with the arrangement, but glad to have been whisked away from Ramsay. Cersei is irate. Neither take kindly to the arrangement, though in that disappointment (and in nothing else) they are kindred spirits.

And she couldn't talk, even though she wished to scream.
