The ship tilts in the storm, sending Legend's feet skidding toward the railing without something to hold on to. Hyrule slips. A wave comes crashing over the side of the boat with bruising force. Their eyes meet. Hyrule's going to go over the side. Hyrule can't swim.
Legend leaps. Hyrule braces. They both get swept violently over the railing.

We ran into some of the other survivors yesterday. Ganon’s army has reached Fort Hateno. The princess was supposedly able to stop the encroaching guardians but Link was apparently fatally wounded as far as anyone else could see. Ayrll doesn’t seem to understand. She thinks that he’ll just need to go see Mipha again.
I can’t tell her he’s dead.
