Fantasy AU of the Magnus Archives. Jon the Archivist has been beset by 13 dreadful curses. He collects three villagers from sacrificial tributes - Sasha, Tim, and Martin - to assist him at the castle. They start to help him break the curses.

But there is nothing wrong with giving Chernysh all the pats and treats that he deserves, is there?
Nothing wrong with encouraging Chernysh to spend more and more time at Ilya's house until he doesn't even remember who Hollander is.
Because Hollander is stupid and boring and does not deserve a dog as good as Chernysh. No, he doesn't, does he? Because Chernysh is the best boy in the whole world, yes he is.

When I wrote Bespoke it kind of went off the rails, and I wound up cutting a whole bunch of Shane and Rose conversation. I was going to release it as a like, Tumblr extra, but then I found another whole section I'd written of Ilya and Rose conversation for a story that hasn't coalesced yet. So... together at last, now with CSS formatting.
