Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne was kidnapped from his office one gloomy Wednesday morning by none other than the Red Hood, an action apparently carried out in order to, quote, "thwart an assassination attempt, Timerella, so shut the fuck up before I carry out the hit for them."
Somehow, this situation and the associated threat to his life, his dignity, and the cortisol levels of Wayne Enterprises' PR team quickly became the least of Tim's concerns. By Wednesday noon the forced bonding exercise with his sort-of-estranged sort-of-brother had evolved into inadvertent dimensional travel.
And there was something very, very wrong with this Gotham.

Summary
Kon can hear a lot if things if he puts his mind to it.
From his room on the farm, he can hear the crickets and the birds (and the ones several farms away). Not to mention Ma and Pa laughing at the diner in town over dinner with the Jones’, and the way the cows sigh and rumble in the fields.
Beeping horns and pavement crackling under tires further away, and the noises of a busy city--phonecalls and laughter and a million conversations overlapping.
Closer, he can hear Tim’s heartbeat, a little quicker than normal--has the added benefit of being able to see him.
Getting Tim out to the farm long enough for him to loosen up was near impossible but somehow Kon’d managed it. And they were here now--Tim tapping away at his laptop, and Kon pretending to read the same comic page on loop.
The window was open, the evening breeze permitted entry as it ruffled papers on Kon’s desk and brushed against anything it could reach.

“NO–” Tim shrieks, but his shout doesn’t cover the horrific, humiliating truth that has just been unveiled. He doesn’t give himself time to gauge his friends’ reactions to the news before he makes a clumsy beeline for the kitchen.

He didn't want to think about the times Kon would sneak into his room and leave right after they were done, and he definetely didn't want to think of the times Kon had spent the night.
Hours of holding each other in the dark, waking several times in the middle of the night with Kon's kisses on his neck, waking up amongst Kon's arms and the bedsheets smelling like him for several hours later. It only lasted a month, but for Tim it was enough to hold on to for a lifetime, though reality always comes back to wake you up from pipe dreams. -

“You wanted to be in charge,” Superboy said. Robin couldn’t see him from behind but he could certainly hear the shrug in his voice. Maybe that’s an exercise for him, trying to see how many times he can shrug “nonchalantly” in a day. Maybe he was hoping his shoulders would fill out more from the movement and he would be able to match up to Superman's one day.
The thought made Robin snicker to himself as he retorted with an eyeroll, “I’m not the ‘one-in-charge’ I’m the ‘one-who’s-supposed-to-be-here.’”
“Do you roll your eyes so much to make them stronger?” Superboy asked, “So you can find clues as easy as the big bat one day?”

In a world where Young Justice takes a bit longer to form the young heroes find themselves falling together while having a few more years' experience under their belt. They didn't set out to form a team and Robin certainly didn't anticipate how deeply he would grow to trust his friends. Superboy, although annoying, was quickly becoming one of the most important people in Tim's life. Robin was used to being prepared for anything (to an extent which could be called paranoid), but Superboy was beginning to make him reckless.

Selfless, they called him as Timothy reduced his own salary to ensure DI would survive these changes, sacrificing his time and dreams to keep the company afloat. Tragic, they all but wrote in every article, unable to keep themselves from rehashing his parents’ deaths.
At only 19, Tim is one of the youngest CEOs in the world. He’s certainly the youngest CEO of a fortune 200 company.
And yet, it takes little to make his empire collapse like a house of cards.

“We need to take it off,” Lagoon Boy's words were met by a handful of yells, both in person and through the comms.
“This is the Red Hood,” Shazam said. “They say he has explosives in his helmet. It might explode if you try to take it,”
“Seriously?”
Dick reached towards the helmet to unlock it with trembling hands, to everyone’s alarm.
“The explosives.” Superboy interjected.
“Connor,” Tim cut in sharply. “We know what we’re doing,”I had thoughts about Jason being super cagey about his identity as the Red Hood to the point that he has explosives in his helmet to prevent people from taking it off, and the vulnerability of the Batfam members knowing the ins and outs of his helmet and how to take it off despite it all.
