“Uh uh, darling, none of that.” She leans in close and holds Parker’s gaze. Her breath tickles Parker’s lips. When she speaks, her voice is low and velvety. “Good girls are polite to mummy, aren’t they?”
It’s almost funny how hard that hits her. The way Sophie’s accent curves delightfully around the word ‘mummy.’ The tight grip she has around Parker’s wrists. Tara’s body plastered against her back, warm and bare, with her breath hitting Parker’s neck just right. Parker moans and jerks her hips, hard.
“Please?” she whispers on a needy whine. “Please, please, please.”
“Please what, darling?” Sophie asks. She nudges Parker’s head back with her chin so she can look her in the eyes. Her own are dark. Her thumbs sweep soothingly, teasingly, across Parker’s wrists. “I know you can say it. You say it so prettily for Tara, don’t you?”

Father leans down, softly pressing his lips to Emily's temple as she whimpers. "You see, sweetheart? Your brother's trouble," he murmurs, stroking her hair back from her flushed face. "I told you to never listen to him." Emily nods, doe-eyed, gripping his wrist like she's afraid he'll clasp tighter, as if her hands were any match for his strength.
Vic's stomach twists with something ugly. The fear in Emily's eyes bores through them, punches a hole right through their chest. It's their fault. She's scared, and it's their fault. They know they should protect her, but their fear is ice cold in their veins, keeping them frozen still on the floor.
Father sighs, shaking his head at them like they're just another annoyance. "You're lucky she listens," he murmurs, pressing another kiss to Emily's forehead, slow and possessive. The sound makes Vic's jaw clench. "My perfect girl," he croons, dragging his fingers down her trembling throat. Emily swallows hard, lashes fluttering, but doesn't pull away. Vic wants to scream.
