“So,” Warriors says, because silence has been sitting there undisturbed for almost a full minute and that simply will not do, “You think we'll die down here?”
Legend doesn’t look at him. “If you don’t stop talking, I will personally make sure you do.”
Warriors smiles. “See, that’s the spirit.”
Legend's following expression is nothing short of disdain.

Sky flutters closer, hands clasped under his chin. “Go on, Captain. Speak to me. I am Artemis.”
“You are not Artemis!”
“I am emotionally simulating her.”
“You are wearing a wig!”
“Don’t be superficial. Now, talk to me.”
Warriors peeks through his fingers, face burning. “I hate everything about this.”

“So.” Warriors says suddenly, glancing back over his shoulder, grin already spreading. “There’s someone I want you all to meet.”
Legend squints. “That sounds suspicious.”
Sky’s eyes light up immediately. “Oh?”
Warriors chuckles. “Relax. It’s not a trap.”
“Everything you say that about turns out to be a trap.” Legend mutters.
Warriors ignores him. “She’s… important to me. I figured it was about time.”
Four lifts an eyebrow. “Important how?”
Warriors slows just enough to walk backward for a step, pointing at them theatrically. “My girlfriend.”

Twilight shuddered. “That’s… that’s not right. This is sick”
Warriors pressed a hand to his chest like he’d been struck. “Brave Legend. Veteran of countless battles. Slayer of nightmares. Reduced to… skincare.”
A fairy placed a tiny flower crown on Legend’s head. Warriors let out a soft, reverent gasp.
“He fought with such spirit!” Warriors murmured, voice trembling with melodrama. “And now he is fallen. Taken by the gentle but relentless hands of moisturisation.”
Twilight stared at him. “You’re acting like he’s dead.”
“He may never recover from this.”
Or: A Great Fairy forces The Chain into a realm of restfulness. This does not go well.

Summary
This is just a random AU I made up in my head some time last year for myself that I mentally work on whenever I get sad. There is no real plot, nothing is connected enough that you’d need to read things in order. It’s mainly just random little snippets of scenes because sometimes I need to get the scenes out of my mind and people really liked the first one I shared so I’ve decided to share more of it :)
