The Monster popped up everywhere now. It was in the kitchen, digging through the fridge, that morning. The night before it had been looming behind the couch where Quentin and Julia had been sitting and watching Mean Girls. Sometimes after he would gasp awake from another nightmare, The Monster was still in his room with him, just sitting on the bed or looking out the window.

Julia dragged Quentin back to the land of the living, but Quentin isn't sure anymore that he really knows what it means to be alive - or if he ever knew to begin with. But, being granted Life 2.0, Quentin feels obligated to at least give it a shot. How can he get a fresh start, though, when the past refuses to die?

Emotion was building in Harry’s throat. “This is very interesting Draco,” he admitted, aiming for casual but knowing the shaking of his hands was giving him away, “but how do we get back?”
Draco’s face crumpled. “I’m sorry Harry, there is no way back.” It was like a bell had been struck inside Harry’s head - all he could hear was ringing. “There’s no where to go back to,” Draco moaned. “He wasn’t just trying to travel in time - he was trying to obliterate his own.” Draco choked on his tears. “There’s nothing ahead of this to travel to yet Harry.” He let out a few more hiccuping tears before finally suppressing his noises of pain. “There is no going back,” he whispered.

His team being a tired, overworked and hanging-by-a-thread Harry Potter.

A whore is not someone you attempt to woo or charm. A whore is not someone you should strive to impress. A whore is someone whose opinion matters very little. Someone you rent for a bit of fun and release. You just put money on the table and they get to say yes or no – and for the record, they seldom say no. So a whore is no one to pine for. Which is just as well, because Arthur isn’t pining for anyone.
And certainly not anyone who’ll disappear off with any random knight for the right amount.

Summary
An alternate ending to 4x05. When Merlin interrupts Arthur's negotiations with Queen Annis she agrees to Trial by Single Combat, but only if Arthur's servant is the Champion. With little other choice Arthur must agree and face losing his longest and oldest friend. But as much as this has turned Arthur's world into chaos Merlin seems strangely confident.
Or: Merlin is the champion for Camelot in 4x05 instead of Arthur and fights the best way he knows how. Magic Reveal.
