    Summary

“Stare much?” Yes, actually. There’s always something new to notice about Larry. Sometimes Travis will take in an odd mole he hadn’t noticed before, or the stretch marks that ridge Larry's back when his shirt shifts up, or the old stick and poke on his thigh that’s usually covered by denim. He can’t say any of that, not when Larry is always looking at him like he’s nothing more than a clumsy toddler, ready to bang his head on the nearest table corner.

    “I’ve just never…”

    “Smoked?”

    “Yeah.”

    - - -

Travis smokes for the first time (and it's a NASTY Marlboro Red).

" “You’re un-fuckin-believable. No wonder your father beats you.”

    Bookmarker's Notes

"What faint light that had been given off from the ember was stubbed out, cloaking them back into the shadows of the night. That was okay. Some things were better done when you couldn’t be seen. There was confidence in the darkness, knowing that he couldn't see if Larry reacted poorly."

    Summary

She awoke to birds chirping in an infuriatingly cheerful fashion, a splitting headache, and a growing sense of impending doom. The more she took stock of her surroundings and the clearer her hazy memories from the night before became, the more sure she was that she was completely fucked.
    Literally.
And also, you know, in a more general sense.

    OR

Arya & Gendry accidentally spend the night together. Once. But it won't happen again. Obviously.

    Summary

“I like it when you say please,” she tells you, breathlessly, once you’ve relinquished her mouth only to taste her jaw, her neck, the notch between her collarbones, so you say it again, the word layered over her skin with your lips and your tongue. You say it again and again and you don’t feel weak, you only feel strong, so strong you could lift a mountain with your bare hands or catch a dragon right out of the sky.

    Bookmarker's Notes

" “We should probably get up,” she says after a while, but you pull her a little closer, wrap your arms a little tighter, and you say the same old refrain, not yet, not yet, not yet. "
