The cravings have gotten so intense ever since Shadow Milk started hanging around more often. It's just as bad as it had been when he was with White Lily at the Academy, if not worse. Obviously he couldn’t act on these desires. So he dealt with it the only way he knew how, he ignored the hell out of it.
Sure, sometimes the mere idea of holding his bluebird close, and pulling aside that frilly little collar kept him up at night. Sure, sometimes he snuck off to the castle's hospital wing and snagged one or two teeny tiny little bags of donated blood, but it was fine. Until it wasn't fine.
Obviously he hadn't ever intended for the object of his desires to find out.Or
Pure Vanilla, a vampire, has starved himself for centuries, living only off of what was strictly necessary. It's difficult, but he's gotten extremely good at controlling his urges. Until a certain blue jester shows up in the vanilla castle, casually flaunting his bare neck, and unintentionally driving the poor vampire up the wall with hunger. Pure Vanilla's secret is not a secret for very much longer.

"But what if I did?" The jester tries, floating over the bed to peer at the hermit's face.
"Did.. what?"
"Shared." Shadow Milk replies, blinking owlishly. "My jam."OR
Pure Vanilla never indulged in his vampiric urges. Truthless Recluse, however, is not above hunting the fauna around the spire, even if it leaves him wracked with guilt, on top of his already fragile mental state. Shadow Milk investigates these strange attacks, and finds himself as the latest victim, much to his delight, and much to the vampire's dismay. While tending to Shadow Milk's wounds, Truthless Recluse finds himself slipping into old habits, a softness that he'd thought he'd left behind in the river.
