What a dangerous idea, to have granted such a thing the power of destruction!
Discovering the truth of where he came from and what he was born to be has brought Adrien to his breaking point. It isn’t that his father was an international terrorist that he spent nearly six years fighting, nor the fact that all of his parental figures are now dead—it’s how they died—because of him, because of what he is.
Plagued by nightmares of what he fears he’ll become, Adrien decides it’s time to forget. Forget his parents and how he was created—the fact that he’s a monster who holds the ability to annihilate anything within his path.
When illusion and reality nearly collide, Adrien is left without the one thing he wanted to remember. What he doesn’t know is that the life he deemed impossible is closer than he could ever have imagined.

Marinette is… still figuring out which one she is.She and Adrien keep running into each other like the universe is playing a very specific (and very annoying) joke on them. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong feelings, wrong page—rinse and repeat.
It’s not that they don’t work. It’s that they never quite work at the same time.
