Summary
In which the laundry room has become a disaster, and Sal must lead the charge to fix it (with Gertrude’s reluctant help).
A Solo playthrough of Chapter 10: Wash Cycle, from Yazeba's Bed and Breakfast, a new TTRPG about found family, witches, and the chaos of everyday life. Yazeba's is built to be played with multiple people, but can also be played alone, through journalling, theater of the mind, or - as this author is doing - through fanfiction.
All credit for the creation of these characters and this set-up goes to the folks at Possum Creek Games.

Summary
Given that it's the fucking modern era, you would think Jrusar would have, you know, updated their accessibility laws. And installed ramps in the Core Spire. And implemented socialized healthcare. And fixed the cable car system, because they've been kicked off two cars mid-transfer in the past month because they couldn't take FCG's wheelchair.
Go figure, Ashton thinks. If anything is worth doing, it's worth doing yourself.

Summary
“Once, in a land both far and close,” Chenelo told him, her voice lilting, “There lived a great many people, all of them able to change their shape. They lived in the water and the waves, and the air and the land. They could choose to be strong and fast or tall and steady. They sang and danced in the water -““And ate lots of fish!” Maia interrupted, hands clapping, and Chenelo smiled down at him.
“Yes, little pup. And ate lots of fish.” She nuzzled the top of his hair. “And one day, starlight, we’ll get to be there too.”

Summary
Caduceus’s eyes flick towards his stomach, and Caleb glances down.
Oh.
There is a sword, serrated along the edge and covered in a viscous black liquid, like the blade had been dipped in ink. It would be beautiful, in a horrifying way, if it hadn’t also been sticking straight through his stomach.
Caleb looks back up at Caduceus.
“Oh,” he says numbly.
The pain hits him all at once, a tidal wave crashing onto shore, and he lets himself fall into darkness.OR: in which Caleb gets a little bit stabbed and a little bit poisoned, and Essek is - concerned.

Sentry’s Rest
When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn’t render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.tiny character study of my new favorite robit

Summary
The anxiety started early. Perhaps that was why he reacted so strongly when a noise suddenly rang out across the atrium of the Senate lobby. It wasn’t the thunder of an explosion, or the whine of a blastershot, or the crack of a slugthrower firing. But it was close enough, and like a switch had been flipped, Obi-Wan felt a great weight descend over him, muffling everything.
[or: a trip to the Senate goes wrong.]

Summary
The Jedi are telepaths. It's normal for them to make long-lasting mental bonds with friends and family, but Obi-Wan has always been extra sensitive. During their fight on Mustafar, when Anakin rips out their bond, thick as an artery and a decade strong- it's too much. That, on top of the deaths of all the Jedi on the heels of Order 66, causes Obi-Wan to begin to lose his memories, and, eventually, his life.
After delivering Luke to Owen and Beru, Obi-Wan is ready to see his family again. He doesn't mind dying, and has made his peace with it. But Beru offers him a place to stay, until the end comes- in her words, no one should die alone.
This was written as a precursor to a time-travel fic, so he doesn't actually die. But it's essentially a death fic. Proceed with caution.

Summary
Fox was tired.
The Guard were treated like garbage from everyone- the Senators, the GAR, and the citizens. The Jedi are apathetic and are no help. They've been abused and abandoned by the galaxy and the Republic they were meant to protect.
...But it isn't much of a Republic, is it?
It takes a nap, a shower, a bowl of oatmeal, and two days for Fox to start stitching together the truth. A truth so bleak and horrifying, it's a wonder no one else has made the connections yet. But Fox didn't care about everyone else- he cared about his men, his brothers, his vode of the Guard. They were dying, and the Republic did not care. It gazed on with indifference, and Fox. Will. Not. Let. It. Continue.
There's a fire burning in his soul, and it will burn the Republic to the ground.

"Electric shock on Kadavo caused neuropathy in my hands and feet,” Obi-Wan explained, resting his useless hands in his lap.
“There’s nothing they can do?” Cody pondered softly.
“Best we can do is treat the pain and prevent further nerve damage.” Obi-Wan shook his head.

Summary
One year, two months, and eight days ago, the United Planet of Melidaan declared an end to their Civil War. Instrumental in creating this peace was Obi-Wan Kenobi, honored member of the Young's fighting force that brokered the treaty between the warring factions, both Melida and Daan, Elder and Young.
In one universe, Qui-Gon Jinn took Obi-Wan Kenobi home.
In others, he didn't. In one, he was taken the day after peace was declared.
Obi-Wan never came home after Melida/Daan. Not really. He left part of himself there, and another part on the forsaken planet he spent the better part of a year on. He was putting himself back together, piece by piece, but it's hard to clean up after you've already shattered.
(AU of Obi-Wan's Padawan years, where he was formally repudiated by Qui-Gon Jinn and then found by Master Fay. Heavy focus on trauma recovery and the aftermath of war and slavery; not Qui-Gon Jinn friendly.)
