    Summary

What happens when you throw a sarcastic vampire, fresh into a relationship with the Dark Urge, into a whole new world with new rules to learn and enemies to fight?

Throw a dragon and a strange prophecy into the mix, and well, for the first time since he got this damn tadpole stuck in his head, you just might have Astarion stumped.

    Summary

“Don’t you ever do this? Let go of all that infinite rage?” Miss Swan wonders. “You should try it. You’d be more relaxed that way, and not such a stuck-up bitch.”

“I beg your pardon?” Regina barks in outrage.

Swan simply smiles. “Touch the grass, Madam Mayor. It grounds you. Makes you see things in perspective.” When her eyes open, there’s an outright challenge in them. “Come join me.” They both know that Regina never will, especially after that insult, and Regina wants nothing more than to set her on fire. She would have, if she’d had access to her magic.

Or: Emma Swan touches grass, and Regina thinks it's ridiculous. On more than one occasion... or is it?

    Summary

"Soul mate magic was a fickle thing. Camila rubbed the inside of her forearm with the sleeve of her sweater, her only defense against the frigid cold of the lecture hall. Considering it was the only magic that existed in the world, Camila thought that maybe it should make some sort of sense.

Yet magic never seemed to follow the rules that lay within the fantasy books that most certainly were not stuffed under her bed, right next to her sci-fi collection. Instead soul mate magic was wild in a way that no one could ever truly pin down. Some people experienced it as a loss of color, others a small noise at the back of their head, an unexplained knowledge that kicked in when they met one of their soul mates, symbols on their skin, and even rarer - physical traits that would manifest with anything from multicolored hair to heterochromia.

    For Camila it was words."
