Harrow meanwhile has been hanging on by a thread, while she waits for the inevitable collapse of her house, but she is not relieved that Gideon is back. She's not.

She could hear footsteps, purposefully soft, as though the perpetrator was trying to be quiet. Had the circumstances been any different, their attempt at stealth might’ve worked, but Sara was on edge, paranoid, and running on the maybe two hours of sleep she had gotten whilst resting her head on Keiji’s shoulder.
So, yeah, forgive her if she’s a little bit jumpy.
